...to the 4th Division of the Pacific Northwest Region of the National Model Railroad Association. We are nearly 700 model railroaders in Western Washington and Alaska.

The 4th Division is proud to have served as host for the 2004 National Model Railroaders Association's National Convention, Puget Sound eXpress. Every year we host the Pacific Science Center Train Show, to be held next year on January 17-19, 2009 at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle Center.

What's New In 4th Division

• Marty Quaas was recently honored by the Twenty-Fifth Alaska State Legislature for promoting the model railroad hobby. Congratulations, Marty!
• Summary Report of the committee concerning future train shows posted.
• Trains, Trains & More Trains Show has been cancelled. For more information, read the December Grab-Iron.
• Congratulations to the 4th Division’s newest Master Model Railroader, Gene Swanson, MMR 412! Plus, he was called Pierce County’s Master Railroader by the Tacoma News Tribune.
• Congratulations to Frank Dekker, winner of the 2008 PNR President’s Award for Outstanding Service to the Region!
• 4D Board of Directors meeting schedule: 1PM on the following Saturdays at the Yankee Grill in Renton. As always, all 4d members are invited to attend. August 8, and November 14, 2009; February 13, May 8, and August 14, 2010.
